Undergrads Address their Science Questions at Poster Showcase

Have you wondered about the differences between fluorescence and phosphorescence? About the role of bone marrow in understanding disease and immune responses? Or how about the effect of nurses’ self-care with their treatment of COVID-19 patients? All these topics and more were addressed by undergraduates as they shared their questions, their answers and their enthusiasm for learning at the 2nd Annual Undergraduate Poster Showcase. This event, hosted by the Office of Science Education in collaboration with Teaching and Learning Services and University Advancement, was a virtual celebration of students’ work. One McGill Science student, Catherine Wang, attended the event and she shares her impressions here.
